- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆My son asked me to get a parcel to him in Leeds, from Norwich with 24 hours notice. I rang Parcel Force Norwich depot who said they could do a 24 hour delivery (Thurs-Frid) if I could get the parcel there before 7pm (it was 5.20pm at the time). I called at the office at 6.15pm. There was a slow-moving queue and a change of staff while I waited, but I was eventually served by a lovely lady whom I had met once before when collecting a parcel and who was very helpful on both occasions. I sent the parcel. At 5.30pm the next day my son said he had not received the parcel. I thought all the reviews on this site must be right and the service had let me down - so I tracked the parcel and found that it had been delivered at 9.30am that day and noted who had signed for it. I asked my son to re-check with his post room: And ..... there it was - put somewhere different as it wouldnt fit in a pigeon hole! Well done Parcel Force! It would have been easy to blame them for not delivering &/or losing the parcel, but look to the recipient before you blame the messenger. I got great service.By Admin, September 09, 2017
